We tested hundreds of runners to design the crash pad under your heel that guarantees a cushioned, smooth transition. These insights also led to the development of an airy upper with breathability in key areas.
Responsive cushioning
The Zoom Air unit in the forefoot provides responsive cushioning. With every step, energy is returned to propel you forward. This is complemented by a foam midsole for a firm yet supple and stable feel at touchdown.
Data-driven design
Data from hundreds of runners helped place the crash pad on the heel. It provides extra cushioning during heel-to-toe transitions and supports runners who tend to overpronate. This data was also used to place the cooling in the right places in the upper.
Flexible and robust
The durable rubber sole was developed for long runs. Notches in the toe box allow for flexibility and vertical notches on the side add stability.
