Excellent ball feel
Nike Gripknit is a grippy material that provides better ball feel. The shoe offers more surface area so you can better control the ball when dribbling at high speed or crowning a play with a goal shot. It adapts to the shape of your foot and offers the same grip in both wet and dry conditions. The fit is similar to that of a track and field shoe. The micro-molding structure with Gripknit hugs your foot for even better ball contact.
Fast traction
The wave-shaped traction pattern consists of a series of cascading studs that increase the surface area of the Air Zoom unit while providing reliable grip. The largest stud is the same height as our proven medium studs, so traction is not compromised. We've combined the wave-shaped traction pattern with redesigned Chevron and Blade studs to facilitate quick changes of direction.
Comfortable fit
The full-length Flyknit upper is designed for high speed. Atomknit, an incredibly light and strong Flyknit variant, on the sides reduces weight and provides support. Gripknit, Atomknit and Flyknit together form the Mercurial's thinnest upper yet, bringing you closer to the ball and also reducing the time you need to break in the shoe. The Dynamic Fit collar made of soft, stretchy material hugs your ankle for a secure feel.
