Excellent ball feel
Nike Gripknit is a grippy material that provides better ball feel. The shoe offers more surface area so you can better control the ball when dribbling at high speed or crowning a play with a goal shot. It adapts to the shape of your foot and offers the same grip in both wet and dry conditions. The fit is similar to that of a track and field shoe. The micro-molding structure with Gripknit hugs your foot for even better ball contact.
Fast Traction
The wave-like traction pattern is made up of a series of cascading studs, giving the Air Zoom unit a larger surface area while still ensuring optimal grip is the order of the day. The largest stud is the same height as our traditional medium studs, so traction isn't compromised. We've combined the wave-like traction with evolved Chevron and Blade studs, making quick changes of direction easier.
Comfortable Fit
The full-length Flyknit upper is designed for high speed, with Atomknit, an incredibly light and strong Flyknit variant, on the sides reducing weight and providing support. Gripknit, Atomknit and Flyknit combine to create the Mercurial's thinnest upper yet, bringing you closer to the ball and also reducing the time you need to break in the boot.
