Superior ball feel
Nike Gripknit is a grippy material that provides a better feel for the ball. The shoe offers more surface area so you can better control the ball when dribbling at high speed or cap off a play with a shot on goal. It adapts to the shape of your foot and provides the same grip in both wet and dry conditions. The fit is similar to that of a track and field shoe. The micromolding structure with Gripknit hugs your foot for even better ball contact.
Fast Traction
The wave-like traction pattern consists of a series of cascading studs, giving the Air Zoom unit a larger surface area while ensuring optimal grip. The largest stud is the same height as our traditional mid-studs, so traction isn't compromised. We've combined the wave-like traction with evolved chevron and blade studs for easier changes of direction.
Comfortable Fit
The full Flyknit upper is engineered for high speed. Atomknit, an incredibly lightweight and strong variant of Flyknit, on the sides reduces weight and provides support. Gripknit, Atomknit, and Flyknit combine to create the thinnest Mercurial upper to date, bringing you closer to the ball and reducing the break-in period.
